And, what a “night of the living dead media” the monthly media networking event Obliterati was. (This edition was also sponsored by Citysearch and Lotus Vodka, but I arrived too late for the free drinks.) First, as I mentioned, it was also a book release party for This Is Why You’re Fat (which is already in stores from what I hear). Second, Destination Bar, this month’s venue was wall-to-wall people when I arrived after my foray into Brooklyn’s DUMBO neighborhood earlier in the evening. By now, I suspect most of my readers know what these are so I’ll skip to the chase and name names. (Were their shenanigans? Probably. But, that’s the kind of thing I’d share in person like at my birthday party.)
On my way in with Agent16’s Jenean Chapman, I greeted Random Night Out’s Nick McGlynn, The New York Times’ Andrew Adam Newman, freelance video editor Lisa Daly, and Carol Legget Public Relations’ Sabrina Bailly.
